Leadership, Growth, and the Power of Celebrating Every Victory 👮🏻♀️✨
What an unexpected honor to serve as Honorary Police Chief for the Day at Kanazawa East Police Station in Japan!
As part of this special opportunity, I had the privilege of speaking to a group of police officers about pursuing our goals without burning out and the importance of celebrating our progress along the way.
One of the messages I shared was something I deeply believe in:
Celebrate Every Victory.
When we focus only on the destination, it’s easy to overlook how far we’ve already come. Recognizing even the smallest steps forward helps us build confidence, maintain momentum, and continue growing.
Following the talk, I joined the officers at Kanazawa Station to raise awareness about fraud prevention and share Japanese traffic safety guidelines with international visitors.
Experiencing firsthand the dedication of those who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe gave me an even deeper appreciation for their service.
My heartfelt thanks to everyone at Kanazawa East Police Station for this extraordinary opportunity and for all that you do to protect our community.
And yes, getting to wear the official uniform was certainly a memorable experience! ☺️👮🏻♀️
この度、金沢東警察署の「一日警察署長」を務めさせていただきました！👮🏻♀️✨
警察署では、署員の皆さんに「夢や目標の保ち方」をテーマにお話しさせていただきました。
目標に向かって頑張り続ける中でも、燃え尽きることなく、自分自身の小さな成長や一歩一歩の前進を認め、祝福すること。
私が大切にしている 「Celebrate Every Victory（どんな小さな一歩も祝福しよう）」 というメッセージもお伝えしました。
その後、金沢駅では特殊詐欺被害の防止を呼びかけたり、外国人観光客の皆さんに日本の交通ルールをご案内したりと、貴重な経験をさせていただきました。
日頃から私たちの安全と安心を守ってくださっている警察の皆さんの活動を間近で体験し、改めて感謝の気持ちが深まりました。
金沢東警察署の皆さま、関係者の皆さま、このような貴重な機会を本当にありがとうございました！
